Primary Colors Recipe Book Project
For this project, I created a dessert recipe book inspired by the bold simplicity of primary colors and the geometric elegance of Bauhaus design. Each section of the book focused on a primary color—red, yellow, and blue—highlighted through corresponding fruits: raspberries for red, lemons for yellow, and blueberries and blackberries for blue.
The layout featured geometric designs and shapes to create a cohesive and visually engaging experience, combining playful elements with a clean, professional aesthetic. I leaned into Bauhaus principles, using bright colors and structured compositions to bring a modernist touch to the project. To add a nostalgic flair, I incorporated retro-inspired typefaces, blending modernism with an old-fashioned charm.
This project allowed me to explore the intersection of design and culinary art, crafting a cookbook that is as delightful to look at as it is functional. The vibrant imagery and dynamic layouts make the recipes pop while celebrating the timeless appeal of primary colors.
